  • We spent 3 Lovely days in The ‘Bassett’ shepherd’s hut and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The place was brand new and everything was spotlessly clean. All of the furnishings are beautifully designed and built to an impeccable standard in a traditional yet modern way. Rachel was a brilliant host, lovely to meet and she had thought of absolutely everything that you could possibly need for your stay. Will definitely be returning next year and look forward to staying again. Highly recommend.

  • The hut is gorgeous and the spot is ideal, a great location for neighbouring beaches. Rachel was super helpful and you can really tell how much work has gone into this site. We will be coming back again, and would highly recommend!

  • A great stay! The little touches were appreciated and the decor is lovely! An absolutely wonderful experience staying in a Shepherd's Hut - and it's clear a lot of care has gone into creating a relaxing holiday for guests, with new appliances, utensils & decor to make for a comfortable setting (it's impressive what they've done with huts. Great to eat outside on the picnic benches too. Highly recommend.

  • Totally amazing place. Such a lucky find for us. Hosts are fabulous, really informative and super helpful and friendly. You have your own peaceful secluded place not over seen at all. We had the best night sleep in ages! Already rebooked for the autumn as we want to try the hot tub.

  • “We really loved our stay and wish we'd booked longer. The place was clean, bright and really comfortable. Loved the welcome note and those delicious cookies too! The location is brilliant with sights to see within a short walk too. We didn't realise there was another hut so near to the one we were in but actually it didn't affect us so not a problem at all as all was peaceful. Thanks again for having us to stay!”
